Is it a good idea to use avatars to replace humans as teachers in schools?
I feel that it is a good idea to use avatars to replace teachers. Using avatar robots, they can work at al times without any salary or food; also, they would not be bored. With the robot, there would be more efficiency the students’ time would also be more flexible. For example, if some students would not like to study in the morning, they can choose afternoon or night classes instead since the robot avatar teaches the exact same thing. Also, they can mark for homework faster than a human teacher. Secondly, it is a new and fresh idea. Everyone likes to try new stuff, especially teenagers. With the new robot avatar, everyone would be more interested and curious to learn. We would pay more attention to the robot and listen to what it says. Since it also shows the emotions of the teachers, I believe that it will too be an effective way to teach. Though it will be a waste of electricity and resources, to maintain and to fix it, I believe that the amount of time saved for teachers will make up for it. In conclusion, I believe that avatars should replace teachers as they may be equally or more effective than human teachers.
