Avatars are robots not humans, they cannot replace teachers. Avatars are unable to communicate and interact with students but can only keep teaching. They have little gestures and movements, therefore they can hardly interact with students and students will get bored of the avatars and choose not to listen to the lesson anymore. For example, the English robot teacher in Korea is unable to join the students and have fun, it can only keep turning here and there and give instructions to the students. Therefore, avatars are not suitable to replace teachers as teachers are like our mothers in school, interacting and teaching us, and no one can replace them.
