Base on my previous research on robot avatars, I would agree that we should replace teachers with robot avatars in the future. Even though one disadvantage would be that some rowdy students wouldn’t listen in class just because it is just a robot teacher and hence misbehave and don’t pay attention in class but this problem can be solved with such advanced technologies. Nowadays, robots were function as a richly embodied communication channel. Where they allow people to communicate because robot avatars allow for the combination of many different type of sensing. Example would be they can sense through their sensitive skins, see through its vision system and able to speak fluently without error. With such advance functions, where take an example of the robots sending a sick boy to hospital, robot avatars were definitely suitable to replace teachers in school. By using robots avatars would also attract the attention of the students, and hence they would pay more attention and work more efficiently in class. Not to forget this allow students to have a whole new experience with learning in class with a robot.
