From my point of view, I think that avatars should replace teachers. Although there are some disadvantages of replacing teachers using avatars, the advantages still overpower the disadvantages. Teachers can teach their students from anywhere around the globe, provided that they and their students have internet access.Teachers could create avatars (an interactive representation of a human in a virtual reality environment), develop lesson plans, and teach in the virtual classrooms .Teachers could potentially live anywhere in the world as long as they had Internet access. The institution or school could create and administer its own cyber practicum or participate in a practicum created and administered by a consortium of institutions with similar program needs. Therefore, I conclude that teachers should be replaced by avatars as this could mean that there are no restrictions for teacher as they could teach from all around the world without actually needing to be physically present.
