Topic: Is it a good idea to use avatars to replace humans as teachers in schools?

Personally, I feel that it is a good idea to use avatars to replace humans as teachers in schools. Firstly, the use of avatars as teachers could allow students to interact more in class for example during language lessons. Some students tend to be more shy and are not outspoken therefore they do not want to participate during language lesson. However, research shows that using more animated avatars can helps students who feel disconnected from class discussions or who are more of audio learners rather than visual learners process material and relate to the lesson more personally. The avatars can also help students with pronunciation and conversation.

Secondly, the avatars can bring historical figures to life. In school during history lesson, teachers might find it hard to bring historical figures to life but with the use of avatars, they do not need to worry too much. In some countries, teachers use avatars which are like historical figures to carry out history lessons. The use of avatars can bring important lessons to life for students. The students would then have a better understanding and also would not think that history is a dry subject. By animating important figures that students traditionally only read about in heavy textbooks, avatars are able to personalize and contextualize the subject.
